Cut carbon, not capacity
Hydrogen enables transport leaders to meet the dual need for higher productivity AND lower emissions.
-
Ultra fast refuelling in 15-20 minutes, equivalent to a 3- 4MW fast charger
-
Minimal effect on vehicle payload
-
Similar range to diesel equivalents

Get serious - get hydrogen
Hiringa green hydrogen refuelling stations produce, store and dispense emissions-free green hydrogen on-site.
Transport operators can reduce vehicle emissions and offer customers decarbonised supply chains today.
Clean fuel, clever business
The transport leaders of the future are already setting themselves apart by meeting the growing need for decarbonised transport.
The transition to zero emission fuels is happening now, and it's happening with hydrogen.

Hydrogen vehicle subsidy available now.
EECA’s Low Emission Heavy Vehicle Fund makes it more affordable for New Zealand transport operators to switch to hydrogen.
It can cover up to 25% of the cost of purchasing hydrogen vehicles, or switching an existing diesel truck to a hydrogen dual fuel engine.
With a New Zealand hydrogen refuelling network now in place, this is the next step in enabling the transport sector to decarbonise.
Types of hydrogen trucks
There are two types of hydrogen trucks available in New Zealand:
Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs) run on 100% hydrogen, with no fossil fuel emissions.
Dual fuel vehicles inject hydrogen into an existing diesel engine. They reduce emissions by 30-50% and can be retrofitted into the engine of a diesel truck.

FCEV
-
Zero carbon emissions
-
Technology builds upon vehicle electrification; hydrogen fuel cell in new or second life chassis
-
Refuels in 15-20 minutes
-
1Kg of H2 = 5L diesel output

Dual fuel
-
Reduces emissions by 30-50%
-
Technology builds upon on combustion; hydrogen and diesel blended in an existing truck engine
-
Refuels in approx 15 minutes
-
1kg H2 = 3.2L diesel output
-
Lower CAPEX
